Michigan-based 3PL confirms 685 appointments at a 98.8% confirmation rate through Qued’s Turvo integration, with company-wide rollout planned by year end
BROADLANDS, Va., Sept. 1, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Qued, a leader in developing sophisticated, automated appointment scheduling solutions for supply chain and logistics companies, today announced that Windmill Transport, a Michigan-based third-party logistics provider, has gone live with Qued’s Smart Appointments platform. Qued connects through Windmill’s Turvo TMS to automate portal and email scheduling for the operators who book the company’s freight every day.
Windmill’s starting point is a familiar one in freight. More than 40 operators across the company’s three offices schedule appointments daily, and before Qued that work ran through shipper portals, email threads, and phone calls. A single appointment could take hours. Founded in 2006 and rebranded from West Michigan Transport in 2025 as it grew into a national provider, Windmill is a company that treats efficiency as part of its identity, and those lost hours had no place in its plans.
The rollout is already producing countable results:
- 685 appointments confirmed through Qued as of July 24
- 98.8% confirmation rate
- Scheduling that once took hours per appointment now takes minutes
“We’ve tried other platforms, but Qued stands above the rest. Their attention to detail through onboarding won us over, and the results have kept proving it. Watching our operators schedule multiple shipments in minutes was eye opening. Less time spent scheduling means more time servicing our customers and carriers in other valuable ways,” said Cami Cripe, Senior Account Manager at Windmill Transport.
Qued’s platform uses machine learning to find the best appointment slots in real time, weighing ETAs, facility capacity, historical performance, and the specific requirements of each location. Because Qued connects directly to Turvo, Windmill’s operators keep working inside the system they already know while the platform books through portals and email behind the scenes, cutting the manual touches where costly human errors creep in and freeing operators to take on more shipments.
Windmill went live in April with a small group of teams and has been expanding by the week. The plan from here is to bring Qued to every team in the company over the coming weeks, with full implementation across the business by the end of the year.
“Windmill is exactly the kind of operation Qued was built for. More than 40 operators, three offices, and growth measured week over week leaves no room for hours lost to a single appointment,” said Prasad Gollapalli, CEO of Qued. “A 98.8% confirmation rate this early in a rollout tells you what a disciplined 3PL and real scheduling automation can do together. When scheduling stops eating the day, that time goes back to customers and carriers.”
Windmill Transport joins a growing roster of brokers, 3PLs, and carriers that run appointment scheduling on Qued.
