AI Appointment Scheduling Platform Qued Named to FreightWaves’ 2027 FreightTech100 for a Third Straight Year; CEO Prasad Gollapalli to Join F3 Fireside Chat

Qued thanks the FreightTech25 judges for ranking it No. 3 last year, up from No. 6 the year before, and asks for the No. 1 spot this year. Gollapalli will speak at F3 in Chattanooga the same week FreightWaves reveals the 2027 rankings.

BROADLANDS, Va., October 1, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Qued, the AI-powered appointment scheduling platform for brokers, 3PLs, and carriers, today announced that it has been named to the 2027 FreightTech100, FreightWaves’ list of 100 companies recognized for innovation across freight and supply chain technology. Qued has now made the list 3 years running. Qued CEO and founder Prasad Gollapalli will also join a fireside chat at F3: Future of Freight Festival, which FreightWaves hosts Oct. 27 and 28 at The Signal in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Qued debuted at No. 6 in the 2025 FreightTech25 and climbed to No. 3 in the 2026 FreightTech25. Industry judges voted Qued into both of those spots. For 2027, an independent panel of more than 80 industry executives will rank the FreightTech100 to set the FreightTech25, with voting overseen by the accounting firm Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough. FreightWaves will announce the 2027 rankings live at the inaugural F3 Awards Dinner on Oct. 26 at The Signal, the night before F3 opens.

FreightWaves reported a record number of nominations this year, and more than 50 companies on the 2027 list were not on the 2026 list. The FreightWaves research team selects the FreightTech100 on documented innovation and market impact, weighing how each company’s ideas have developed since the year before.

“Thank you to the industry judges who voted Qued No. 3 last year, up from No. 6 the year before, and to the customers whose results earned those votes,” said Gollapalli. “To this year’s FreightTech25 panel: we would be honored to earn your vote for the No. 1 spot.”

Qued’s AI books load appointments from inside the transportation management system a customer already runs. The platform schedules through facility portals and email, and places AI voice calls to facilities that only book by phone. Machine learning weighs ETAs, facility capacity, historical performance and each location’s requirements to find the best appointment slot in real time. McLeod Software has certified Qued as an integration partner.

“As Qued has solved appointment scheduling, first mastering the CPG & F&B space, it continues to expand to work with logistics service providers, including companies in the Fortune 100,” Gollapalli said.

Since June, Qued has announced deployments with Prime Inc., BlueGrace Logistics, ABCO Transportation, Hoekstra Transportation and Windmill Transport. At the time of the June announcement, Prime had booked more than 23,000 appointments through Qued, with booking time down by as much as 90%.

Gollapalli’s fireside chat at F3, “Beyond the Hype: What AI in Freight Actually Delivers When the Noise Dies Down,” is slated for Oct. 28.

“At F3, I want to talk about what AI has actually delivered in freight now that the hype has settled,” Gollapalli said. “Operators ask a practical question now: what has this software already done for me? Qued’s customers can answer that one.”

Gollapalli has spent nearly 30 years building technology for freight. He founded and led Trucker Tools, a digital freight management platform, and sold the company to ASG, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors, in June 2021.

FreightWaves will honor the full FreightTech100 at the F3 Awards Dinner. Registration for F3 is open at live.freightwaves.com.
